Emily is proud that the government is delivering the biggest catch-up programme in the NHS’s history, so that everyone can get the care they deserve. Over the next three years, the Conservative government will invest an extra £45.6 billion in funding for health and social care, delivering around nine million more checks, scans and procedures.
Emily is also proud of a government creating a culture of innovation in our NHS, delivering value for taxpayers’ money and delivering services fit for the future. Better care requires innovation in new technologies, which is why the government will put access to new drugs and technology at the heart of the future of our NHS to ensure the money we invest goes further to meet patient’s needs.
