Paul Lally has been selected as the Conservative candidate in the Bucklow-St. Martins by-election.
Paul who held office as a ward councillor between 2012 – 2021 believes Partington, Carrington and Sale West need dedicated voices for our local community.
Paul is happily married with two teenage children. You may have seen him around as he is a regular user at Partington Sports Village.
His top priority is to fight for better local infrastructure and services along with ensuring residents are continued to be helped through the cost-of-living crisis.
Paul said: "I know housing is an issue in Partington, Carrington and Sale West and the rising number of homes continue to put a strain on our roads, schools, GP surgeries and other community services.
"Facilities remain inadequate despite new homes continuously popping up across our ward. So, I will act upon those concerns of Positive Partington and the local Parish Councils to ensure that the right types of homes are built in the right places." He added, "I will insist on additional residential consultation on the Carrington Moss development and proposed current relief road plans."
“Partington, Carrington and Sale West residents have a unique opportunity to choose a candidate who has the support of one of the big political parties but is independently minded enough to question Trafford Council decisions.”
