Roads and Pavements Survey

Did you know that Trafford is in the top 10 for potholes?

A recent survey of 122 local authority areas in England and Wales has revealed that Trafford has the 10th highest figure for potholes reported to a council per mile. The survey reveals that in 2022, Trafford received 3,361 reports of potholes on its 500 square miles of roads which equates to an average of over 7 potholes per mile. By contrast, neighbouring Warrington Council received 526 reports of potholes on its 623 square miles of roads which equates to an average of less than one pothole per mile.

You can let us know your views on potholes by completing this quick survey. We will then share the headline results with the Labour-run Trafford Council to let them know how local residents view the condition of Trafford's roads and pavements.
